Change the owner and holder data of a vehicle you already own
In the e-Services, you can change the owner and holder data of a vehicle you already own. If you have sold your vehicle, make a notification of transfer. Please note that some of Traficom’s e-services and PDF forms are only available in Finnish and Swedish.
If you are the vehicle's registered owner, you can add and remove holders or other owners by logging into the service. You do not need a certificate for this.
If you are the vehicle's registered holder, you can make changes provided you have received a certificate from the owner.
Do not use the service if you have sold the vehicle. Make a notification of transfer (External link) for the vehicle you have sold, with which you notify of the vehicle having been transferred to a new owner.
If no natural person is registered as the holder of a vehicle owned by a company, the company must register a person in charge of use (External link).
